ABOUT THE COURSE
The Purser and Ravì Conducting Academy offers an intensive four-day workshop in Vienna, Austria, focused on the profound connection between musical intention, breath, and movement. Led by Toby Purser, Head of Conducting at London’s Royal College of Music, and Giuseppe Ravì, the creator of Respiro e Movimento®, the program is designed to strengthen physical communication, increase podium authority, and develop competition skills.
Active participants will receive a minimum of 140 minutes of guaranteed podium time, working directly with a unique ensemble composed of a string quintet, two pianists, and a singer. The masterclass takes place at the historic Palais Ehrbar and includes specialized instruction, score study, and daily exercises tailored to help conductors refine their gestural language and musical expression.
