ABOUT THE COURSE
The International Conducting Masterclass in Teplice and Prague offers conductors a professional training program in collaboration with the North Czech Philharmonic Teplice. Led by Prof. Norbert Baxa, this intensive course provides an opportunity to study major symphonic masterpieces while gaining deep insight into rehearsal strategies and effective collaboration with a professional symphony orchestra.
Active participants are guaranteed at least 120 minutes of podium rehearsal time with the orchestra, preceded by two days of individual preparatory lessons with piano accompaniment. The program concludes with a final public rehearsal and professionally produced video recordings suitable for a conductor’s professional portfolio.
