ABOUT THE COMPETITION

The Mediterranean International Conducting Competition, organized by the Associazione Musicale Arturo Toscanini, takes place in Puglia, Italy. Dedicated to Maestro Mariano Patti, the competition aims to promote talented young conductors worldwide while offering concrete professional opportunities and fostering international artistic exchange.

The competition consists of a video preliminary round, followed by live eliminatory, semi-final, and final rounds held in Molfetta and Bisceglie. Participants will have the opportunity to conduct the Federiciana Symphony Orchestra Foundation, with podium time progressively increasing from 12 minutes in the first round to 40 minutes of rehearsal and a public concert for the finalists.
