ABOUT THE COURSE
The Conducting Academy Johannes Schlaefli offers an intensive masterclass in Zürich designed for professional conductors and advanced conducting students. Led by Prof. Johannes Schlaefli, the program provides participants with generous podium time and a collaborative environment focusing on score analysis, interpretive approaches, and rehearsal techniques.
The masterclass features practical sessions with the Alumni-Sinfonieorchester Zürich, a high-quality non-professional orchestra. Active participants are guaranteed approximately 65 minutes of podium time to work on masterpieces by Strauss and Tchaikovsky, culminating in a final public concert or masterclass day.
