ABOUT THE COURSE
The Landor Conducting Academy presents a weekend conducting masterclass in Central London from November 7 to November 8, 2026. The course offers rigorous practical instruction and hands-on podium experience designed to develop conducting technique, score analysis, and rehearsal efficiency.
Participants receive a total of 120 minutes of guaranteed podium time, divided equally between piano sessions and direct work with the LCA Ensemble, a chamber group of approximately 11 advanced musicians from London’s leading conservatoires. Full video recording of podium sessions is included in the fee, with optional individual coaching available on preceding days.
The featured repertoire focuses on French masterworks, including Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, Ravel’s Ma Mère l’Oye Suite, and Fauré’s Pelléas et Mélisande Suite. Applications are processed in the order they are received.
