ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The Sixth Edition of the International Orchestral Conducting Competition “Sergei Kussewitzky” is organized by the Musical Association “Scriabin” and will be held in Grosseto, Italy. The competition is open to orchestral conductors of any gender and nationality with no age limits, offering cash prizes and future guest conducting engagements with several Italian orchestras.
The competition is structured in three phases, beginning with an online video-based pre-selection. Eight semi-finalists will be chosen to conduct the “Città di Grosseto” Orchestra during live rounds at the historic Teatro degli Industri, with three finalists ultimately selected to perform in a public final concert.
