ABOUT THE COURSE
The Irish Conductors Network offers a 1-day conducting workshop in Dublin, Ireland, led by directors Sinéad Hayes and Ciarán Crilly. The session is open to 8 to 10 participants of all levels, with professional orchestral musicians wishing to develop their conducting skills being particularly welcome.
The morning features a group session with piano focusing on Brahms’ Academic Festival Overture and Elgar’s Serenade for Strings, ensuring 15 to 20 minutes of active podium time for each participant. The afternoon offers up to 6 individual clinic slots for a more personalized 25-minute coaching session on a piece of the participant’s own choice.
