ABOUT THE COURSE
The International Orchestral Conducting Course is part of the CONVIMUS festival at the Universidade Lusíada in Porto. Under the tutelage of Austrian maestro Achim Holub, the program provides structured and intensive training that combines theoretical foundations, physical training, and practical experience with an orchestra.
The training addresses key areas such as gestural precision, visual communication, analytical score preparation, and body language. All participants will receive podium time in front of the AMASING Symphony Orchestra, personalized feedback after each rehearsal, and collective video analysis sessions before culminating in a final public concert.
