ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The 1st Buñol International Wind Band Conducting Competition is organized under the artistic direction of Cristóbal Soler. Its main objective is to recognize the wind band tradition of Buñol, boosting the careers of conductors in collaboration with the Asociación Española de Directores de Orquesta (AESDO).
The competition will select a maximum of 20 participants, who will be eligible for various financial prizes and professional opportunities, such as guest conducting professional symphonic wind bands in Spain and Lithuania in the following seasons.
