ABOUT THE COURSE

The Florence Conducting Masterclass provides a huge amount of quality podium time with one of the finest orchestras in Italy, taking place in prestigious venues in Florence. The masterclass is directed to conductors who want to increase their musical experience and work as professionals in the world of classical music.

It represents a unique opportunity to work at the highest level under the guidance of world-class teacher Michel Tabachnik, a pupil of legendary conductors such as Pierre Boulez and Herbert von Karajan. Students will work with La Filharmonie, the Orchestra Filarmonica di Firenze, and Professors of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino on a wide repertoire including Classical, Romantic, and 20th-century symphonic works.
