ÜBER DEN KURS
The Festival Internacional de Música de Querétaro organizes the Orchesterl Conducting Workshop 2026, an immersive two-week program under the tutelage of maestra Catherine Larsen-Maguire. Aimed at a maximum of 5 active participants selected by video, the course offers the opportunity to work on fundamental symphonic repertoire with the festival’s orchestra.
The daily work plan includes theoretical classes on analysis and technique during the mornings, followed by in-person rehearsals with a symphony orchestra. To culminate the learning process, the active conductors will have the opportunity to conduct in the closing concerts scheduled at the end of each week at the Teatro Experimental and the Teatro de la Ciudad.
