ÜBER DEN WETTBEWERB
Maximum Age: 35 years.
Preliminary Round:
A 65-minute rehearsal for each candidate with the Joven Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, during which they must conduct excerpts of the works indicated by the jury. These works will be announced sufficiently in advance for study. The excerpts that each candidate must rehearse will be decided by the jury and communicated to them before starting their rehearsal.
Final:
A public concert with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, in which the works established by the jury must be conducted and will be announced well in advance. The movements and excerpts that each candidate must conduct will be decided by the jury and communicated during the announcement of the finalists.
Prizes:
First Prize:
Assistant conductorship of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León for a period of two years starting from the awarding of the prize.
Conducting several extraordinary programs of the OSCyL during these two years.
Conducting the summer tour “Plazas Sinfónicas” with the OSCyL Joven.
Mentorship by nationally and internationally renowned professionals.
Trophy and accrediting diploma.
Second Prize:
Conducting a minimum of one extraordinary program of the OSCyL.
Substitute conductorship for the summer tour.
Accrediting diploma.
Likewise, both awardees will be considered to integrate the artistic offering of the Red de Músicas de JM España.
