ABOUT THE COURSE
The course will end with the celebration of a concert on the morning of Sunday, February 25, 2024, in the Assembly Hall of the Rectorate and Social Council building. The concert will be conducted by Ignacio García-Vidal and participants of the course. Anyone interested can attend the concert, with free admission until full capacity is reached.
The course is aimed at:
– Music students
– Musical Conducting professionals
– Amateur conductors of wind bands, choirs, orchestras
– People interested in Musical Conducting
The objectives of the course are:
– To train the participating student body in the history, practice, and technique of Musical Conducting.
– To know the parameters and variables necessary to successfully develop Musical Conducting functions.
– To initiate in the practical application, together with the Joven Orquesta UMH, of the parameters and variables of the Musical Conducting technique.
