ABOUT THE COURSE
The Musical Conducting Course 2026, organized by the Orquesta Filarmónica de La Mancha (OFMAN) in Ciudad Real, offers comprehensive practical and theoretical training over four days led by maestro Francisco-Antonio Moya. The workshop stands out for addressing up to four different genres: Chamber Music, Opera/Zarzuela, Oratorio, and Symphonic Music, structured into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels to adapt to the skills of the 15 active participants.
The work plan includes conducting technique classes, piano practices, and exhaustive sessions with orchestra, choir, and soloists. The course will foster constructive debates to offer feedback, guaranteeing 100 minutes of podium time for each conductor and culminating with a closing concert, which, like the orchestral practices, will be recorded and made available to the students.
