ABOUT THE COURSE
The Leonel Morales & Friends Festival Conducting Course offers an intense week of learning in Granada under the tutelage of Lawrence Golan, a renowned American conductor. The program is designed for a maximum of 16 active participants, who will work daily in 3-hour rehearsal sessions alongside a string orchestra and participate in discussions on score study, programming, and professional development.
Each student will enjoy 80 minutes of podium time, as well as the opportunity to conduct in one of the two final concerts that will be part of the prestigious International Festival. In addition, the course guarantees free access as auditors to all instrumental masterclasses held in parallel, providing a complete immersive experience and the option to acquire a professional multi-camera recording of the performances.
