ABOUT THE COURSE
The Conductors Retreat at Medomak is a proven program of intensive work on the many aspects of conducting and being a conductor. It is the place where conductors develop as leaders, hone their skills, learn new ones, and take deep dives into the music in a supportive community of inspiring mentors and colleagues, all by a beautiful lake in the quiet surroundings of the Maine woods.
Distinguished artist-mentors lead a unique program of conducting, score study, aural skills, movement and expression, while developing greater leadership attributes and musicianship. The retreat includes a Chamber Music Concert and a Gala Symphony Orchestra Concert.
