ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The II International Orchestral Conducting Competition “Lliria, City of Music”, organized by the Ayuntamiento de Llíria in collaboration with AESDO, aims to discover and promote young conductors from all over the world.
Conductors of all nationalities who, as of April 24, 2023, are not over 35 years of age may compete.
The competition is structured in 4 phases, and a pre-selection will be made through the submitted video material. A maximum of 25 conductors will be selected for the first phase.
Prizes:
€8,500 in prizes will be awarded, along with the possibility of being invited to conduct the collaborating orchestras of the competition during the upcoming 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons:

– Orquesta Sinfónica de El Sistema de Venezuela
– Orquesta ADDA-Simfònica de Alicante
– Orquesta de Extremadura
– Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga
– Orquesta Sinfónica de la Región de Murcia
– Oviedo Filarmonía
– Orquesta Ciudad de Granada
– Orquesta Sinfónica de Andalucía.
