ABOUT THE COURSE
The conducting masterclass with M° Arturo Tamayo and the Berliner Symphoniker is designed for conductors who want to prepare and record a strong conducting video for auditions, applications, and international competitions. Only 8 active participants maximum will be accepted to ensure substantial podium time, individual preparation, and direct feedback.
The masterclass structure includes orchestra rehearsals with a focus on Schönberg’s Verklärte Nacht, as well as repertoire chosen by the participants under the guidance of Maestro Tamayo. The program culminates in a general rehearsal and a final dressed recording session, with each session recorded for review and one-on-one feedback provided throughout.
