ABOUT THE COURSE
The Inaugural Aseok Project 2026 presents an intensive conducting masterclass led by conductor and educator Victoria Zhadko. Taking place in Bundang, South Korea, this project offers active participants direct podium time with the Project Orchestra Acorda Aseok, providing a valuable platform to refine conducting technique and broaden musical interpretation under high-level mentorship.
Victoria Zhadko, Ukraine’s first female professional orchestra conductor, is a prize winner of renowned international competitions including the Prokofiev, Toscanini, Kondrashin, and Malko competitions. She currently serves as a professor of conducting at the National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kyiv and brings extensive experience as an international guest conductor and former principal conductor of the Kharkiv Philharmonic.
Participants will receive a total of 70 minutes of podium time, divided between piano preparation and orchestral sessions, culminating in a final performance. The masterclass focuses on string repertoire, including masterpieces by Stravinsky and Elgar.
