ABOUT THE COURSE

Access All Arias 2026 is an intensive five-day opera conducting course held in partnership with the International Vocal Competition (IVC) in Den ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. Designed for advanced conductors looking to work at an international level, the masterclass offers a hands-on, immersive experience with staged scenes, masterclasses, and one-to-one coaching [1].

Participants will benefit from expert instruction and advice from a distinguished panel of industry leaders, including Sir David Pountney, Karen Kamensek, Rob Hilberink, Susan Bullock, and Peter Rose [2]. The curriculum centers on working with solo voices, piano, and a string ensemble, allowing conductors to practice a diverse operatic repertoire from composers such as Handel, Mozart, Verdi, and Puccini in both rehearsals and public performances [2].

With only six active participant places available, selection is highly selective and based on CV and video submissions [3, 4]. The course fee includes accommodation, providing a supportive, focused environment for young professionals to refine their craft in an international opera competition setting [1, 3].
