ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The 14th “Luigi Mancinelli” International Competition for Opera Conductors will take place at the Teatro Sociale di Camogli from August 18 to 21, 2026. The competition opera for this edition is Giuseppe Verdi’s “Rigoletto”, under the evaluation of a prestigious jury chaired by Andrea Sanguineti.
The preliminary rounds will be held on August 18 and 19 with piano and singers, followed by the semifinal on August 20 with orchestra and singers. The final will take place on August 21 in the form of a public concert and award ceremony, offering the finalists the chance to win significant cash prizes and debut contracts.
