ABOUT THE COURSE
The 12th International Masterclass Conducting Technique, led by Prof. René Gulikers, is structured as a musical retreat in Chiny, Belgium. Open to music students, exam candidates, and professional musicians, the class provides a tranquil, collaborative environment to focus deeply on conducting posture, hand independence, baton technique, and score analysis.
The course offers five individual 50-minute lessons and daily group sessions tailored to each participant’s level. The final days feature work with two professional pianists, concluding with a final presentation recorded on video for personal use, without the presence of an external orchestra.
